hoedje
Hi, I'm running Corsair TwinX1024-2700LLPT on a Asus a7n8x (rev 1.04) motherboard with 5-2-2-2 timings. This works perfectly. But if I try to loosen the timings for a little oc the system will not boot/post at all. Only long beeps. Even such as 6-2-2-2 at the same clock will not boot/post. The board has the latest bios (1009). Anyone know what is happening? Thanks in advance, hoedje
Jabberwok
WOW. Refusing to boot with looser timings? wow again:D: Are you able to try your memory on another motherboard and/or other memory on your motherboard? What happens when timings are at SPD? hoedje
The 5-2-2-2 are SPD. It doesn't matter what I change there is not boot/post. Changing the timings with the nvidia system utility is possible but I do not want to do that every time I boot. Besides you can change only 3 of the 4 timings.
