jetoney
RAM guy/all, I have the Asus K8V Deluxe mb, and I want to up the RAM to 2g. The reason I am doing this is because of the intense draw of one of my plugins for audio(BFD Deluxe from Fxpansion). I currently have these TWINX1024-3200 but someone recommended I could get away with these, if I don't OC: VS2GBKIT400C3 I need to move up as the plugin is caching hard in RAM I guess I could sell my 1g pair if anyone is interested ? I realize that the latter is value select, but is it possible that this could work, it's roughly a 70 dollar diff in the mem. Please let me know which way I should go. Thanks in advance, JT

jetoney
Thanks for the input, but unfortunately, I do not have access to those parameters with this RAM/Motherboard(I see them, but they are greyed out). I did have access to them with the old sticks I was using, but it seems that there is a standard with these sticks that just defaults. After setting the Volatge to 2.7, I just left everything else, so far so good, unless anyone has anything else to add. I have them in slots 1 & 3 by the way, Ram Guy, is this correct to get max efficiency out of this Ram /mobo combo. BTW, it is an ASUS K8V Deluxe
