boqonx
Dear RAM Guy, I think i got one bad module. The PC was running very unstable, random crashes often happened, then i decided to run Prime95 because i used to use that program. It didn't work. I took out one of the sticks and it worked like a charm. I think one of the module is bad. Am i suppose to directly RMA to Corsair? I bought the module from newegg.com around 2 months ago. boqonx
I've tested each module using Prime95 at the same slot and the other one works perfectly, no crash, no freezes, stable in every game, prime for 5 hours straight. The bad one only runs for 30 seconds and the computer rebooted. HTT at that time was 260MHz. I'll do Memtest86 ASAP and give u the result. Thanks everyone.. boqonx
Dear RamGuy, I've posted a couple of weeks ago about this and i haven't had the time to test using memtest86. The only thing i did is test each of them separately (running single channel, test stick by stick) and one of them doesn't even boot stably @ 265MHz. Since i have another pair of 4400C25 (the PT version) and i somewhat feel that the PT version is better, can i get the 4400C25 replaced with 4400C25PT version? Thank you very much. Hope to receive reply from u as soon as possible because i can't stand running 512MB single channel anymore... -adrian-
