Nighty
Hi I have a problem with my new Gigabyte mainboard and my rams. Mainboard : GA-K8NF-9 with AMD 64 X2 +3800 (Dual Core) wqith 4 mem slots 1+2 3+4 and my 2 Corsair RAMS CMX512 - 3200C2 PRO XMS3200 400 MHZ CL2 (the one with the LEDs on top) If I insert 1 modul = OKAY 64 BIT Single If I insert 1 in slot 1 and slot 3 = OKAY 1024 MB but single Mainboard Manual say: insert in 1+2 or 3+4 for dual channel. I insert into 1+2, but if I do so, no boot. Only a long beep pause long beep of may Award Bios. (MB Manual say: RAM Problem.) (Same problem if I insert it into 3+4 What can I do ? best regards Ralf
CMC_SAVAGE
If both sticks work in single channel, the RAM is fine. DC is a MOBO feature not the RAM. Do you have the latest BIOS?
Nighty
Yesterday I update my Bios from F7 to F9. But it won´t help. Single channel work with my moduls, Dual not. :(
