MCeatalot
Hi, sorry this might sound like a noob question, but when I open CPU-Z, under SPD, the part number only shows as CMX512-3200C2, not as CMX512-3200C2PRO. Also, under SPD Timings Table, @ 200 MHz, it says that the required timing is 3-3-3-8, when these sticks are supposed to be @ 200 MHz 2-3-3-6. I don't understand! Do I have a bad pair of sticks? Are my sticks a rebadge of the regular 3200C2???? Pls Help RAM guy.
Wired
THEY ARE FINE. PRO just means pretty lights, so they don't put that into the SPD chip (same for PT). Also, 3-3-3-8 in the SPD is normal, just set the BIOS like so: CAS Latency (tCL): 2 RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3 Row Precharge (tRP): 3 Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6 Memory Voltage: 2.75 Volts All other settings to defaults. MCeatalot
Thanks! Will setting the voltage to 2.75 void the warranty?
