Bad memory?

Hello all

I just finished building my new system and I've had a couple BSoD's and few other errors. So I decided to test my memory using memtest86+ v1.65. Left it running for almost 7 hours.

Here is a screenshot

I'm using Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2PT. One 512 stick in Slot-A1 and Slot-B1 on my A8N-SLI motherboard.

Questions:

1) Is the RAM bad?

2) Why is it detected by my motherboard with 3.3.3.8 timings when it says in the description of the RAM that it should be 2.5 3.3.6?

3-3-3-8 are the SPD timings, you have to set them manually to 2-3-3-6. I'm assuming since you haven't done that you also need to manually change the voltage to the correct settings as well, which may have caused those errors.

CAS Latency (tCL): 2

RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3

Row Precharge (tRP): 3

Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6

Memory Voltage: 2.75 Volts

All other settings to defaults.
