Flash Voyager 1Gb can't format

Recommended Posts

I bought my Corsair Flash Voyager 1Gb one month ago and everything was fine. But now it doesn't work anymore. I tried it on several systems, I always have an error saying that I need to format it, which is impossible. It's also detected as a 456Mb usb disk, instead of 1Gb.

What can I do?

Also, since I live in France, is there a problem for the warranty?

I would suggest you ask your reseller and see if they will help you get it replaced. Or Lets get it replaced directly. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!

Just got the smae issue, has been working fine until I popped it in teh USB slot today. Firstly teh drive name was "Removable Drive", this got me concerned as it should have been "Corsair", anyway nothing important on teh device and windows aked me to format, but it can not complete.

I'll contact the reseller, tomorow morning and see what happens, if they cant help I'll let you know!!

Ok the reseller will not return it so I guess I follow th elink in your sig.

And my Boss's flash stick also did the same thing today so I guess thats 2 we need replacing.

Disapointed with this, as I purchased 10 of them and thats 2 failures, I bought Corsair cause of there good reputation. I wouldn't have minded one going bad (it happens) to 2 out of 10 is disapointing :(:
