MoOm
I bought my Corsair Flash Voyager 1Gb one month ago and everything was fine. But now it doesn't work anymore. I tried it on several systems, I always have an error saying that I need to format it, which is impossible. It's also detected as a 456Mb usb disk, instead of 1Gb. What can I do? Also, since I live in France, is there a problem for the warranty?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 21, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 21, 2005 I would suggest you ask your reseller and see if they will help you get it replaced. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 22, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 22, 2005 Thats no problem, you would only need to send the device.
PabsSco
Just got the smae issue, has been working fine until I popped it in teh USB slot today. Firstly teh drive name was "Removable Drive", this got me concerned as it should have been "Corsair", anyway nothing important on teh device and windows aked me to format, but it can not complete. PabsSco
Ok the reseller will not return it so I guess I follow th elink in your sig. And my Boss's flash stick also did the same thing today so I guess thats 2 we need replacing. Disapointed with this, as I purchased 10 of them and thats 2 failures, I bought Corsair cause of there good reputation. I wouldn't have minded one going bad (it happens) to 2 out of 10 is disapointing :(:
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 26, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 26, 2005 We will be happy to replace them, but if this happens again I would double check that you have all of the latest drivers and bios installed on this system.
