M/B supports 4GB but M/B manual doesn't confirm this.

I just bought a Epox EP-9NPA+Ultra which is suppose to support 4 GB of DDR ram, but the M/B manual doesn't specifically confirm that 1GB modules will work in each slot. I have not installed and tried them yet, but I bought 2 Corsair ValueSelect 1Gb 184 pin DDR SDRAM, DDR 400 (PC 3200) The model number is: VS1GB400C3. Now I wonder if they are going to work with this motherboard? Am I concerned about nothing?

(I wanted to keep the other two slots available, I am tired of not being able to add memory.)

Its 11-26-05, the ValueSelect 1 mb memory sticks are in and working fine. I am not a gamer so They should do me fine, I will probably add two more, maybe?, but I like having the option if needed. I only have one PCI Express slot and card, but I have an AMD 64 3700+ San Diego, so I should not need to upgrade for sometime now.

Hi Ram guy,

I am not mixing these modules with anything else. I plan on adding two more to the system if it is necessary or desirable. The two empty slots will give me the option. I will report how this works out. Thanks for the reply.
