Modeler
I just bought a Epox EP-9NPA+Ultra which is suppose to support 4 GB of DDR ram, but the M/B manual doesn't specifically confirm that 1GB modules will work in each slot. I have not installed and tried them yet, but I bought 2 Corsair ValueSelect 1Gb 184 pin DDR SDRAM, DDR 400 (PC 3200) The model number is: VS1GB400C3. Now I wonder if they are going to work with this motherboard? Am I concerned about nothing? (I wanted to keep the other two slots available, I am tired of not being able to add memory.) Its 11-26-05, the ValueSelect 1 mb memory sticks are in and working fine. I am not a gamer so They should do me fine, I will probably add two more, maybe?, but I like having the option if needed. I only have one PCI Express slot and card, but I have an AMD 64 3700+ San Diego, so I should not need to upgrade for sometime now.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 18, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 18, 2005 They should work fine assuming you are not mixing them with any other type of RAM. Let us know what happens!
Modeler
Hi Ram guy, I am not mixing these modules with anything else. I plan on adding two more to the system if it is necessary or desirable. The two empty slots will give me the option. I will report how this works out. Thanks for the reply.
