Snootster
I seem to have got a bad memory module. It is PC-2100 512MB DDR. I have run Windows Memory tester and it brings up constant errors. What should I do? Thanks Frank
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 18, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 18, 2005 Have you tried using the Corsair module all by itself without any other RAM installed in your system? Sometimes when modules are mixed together problems such as this can occur. Also, please make sure you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard and that the module is being inserted correctly. Furthermore, if you would like to test the modules to check their integrity please download "Memtest", this can be found at http://www.memtest.org and will help you check the modules themselves. Make sure that when running memtest you test the modules one at a time and in various slots as it is possible you have a bad DIMM slot on your board. Looking forward to hearing from you.
