m1lk
Hi I recently purchased a VS1GSDS333 for use in my Toshiba Satellite M30-S7301. However, my laptop does not boot when the Corsair RAM is in place!Works fine otherwise. My toshiba has 2 RAM slots, 1 main and 1 extra I suppose, both removable. The original is a Samsung 256MB RAM and I have an extra XXXXXXXXX 256MB as well. I tried all combinations, including using only the VS1GSDS333 by itself but still it does not boot. Upon close inspection I found that there is a very slight chipp off the corner of one of the RAM chips. Could this be the reason? Can any1 suggest whats wrong? Please help! thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 15, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 15, 2005 These modules should run in that system as long as you are not mixing them with other memory. Let's try repalcing your modules. But I would make sure that you have the latest bios for your system first to be sure. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
