ranger_krvs
HELLO I trying run my 1gig of Twinx1024-3200XL @DDR430 (215MHz) and from what seen from googling getting it running at DDR430 @ 2,2,2,5 should be np now I when running Memtest86 v.1.40 this is what I get: 2,2,2,5 (1T) 2,8V and fails in first or second pass 2,2,2,5 (2T) 2,8V and fails in 5,6 pass I now there's alot other memory setting then just the 2,2,2,5 and command rate but where do I start loosening the timing?? but still maintain the 2,2,2,5 timing? Also anybody know what the "burst length" should be for this memory as of now its @ 4 beats and my options are 2,4,8 beats? any suggestions? check sig for specs
CMC_SAVAGE
I would try a BIOS update. 2-2-2-5 1T at 215MHz should'nt be a problem for this RAM. 2,2,2,5 (2T) 2,8V and fails in 5,6 pass Failure in test 5 usually indicates a problem elsewhere, not the RAM. ranger_krvs
I have the latest bios and I am trying 2,3,2,5 (1T) right now and it seems to work, now couldn't it be another setting that could be causing it? My CPU multiplier is @ 8 just so I know its not that and the LDT 3x just so I also know that it not that either. You know what the "burst length" should be for this memory as of now its @ 4 beats and my options are 2,4,8 beats?
