LiquidSteal
I have 2 x 512 XMS C2PT 400mhz, My system started crashing on me with the following errors everytime that I come back to windows. I have checked serveral things before realizing that this is probably a mem problem, so I took one stick out, and still got the crashes, then I switched sticks and was on the computer all day yesterday with not a single crash. Today I put the other stick back in, and tried to play a game and the game crashed on me after playing for maybe 2 min, I tired again, and same results. I have all the setting on default in the bios as they have always been. I would like to RMA this stick unless you have another way for me to get this to work. Here are the errors from windows when I get back on. Moto
Try bumping your default RAM voltage up to 2.7 using the softmenu in the OC Guru. I have an AV8 also and I had RAM problems until I did this. Good luck.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 14, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 14, 2005 I agree with Moto, set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
