Ray Weikel Posted November 12, 2005 Share Posted November 12, 2005 I have a system with an Abit IC-7G MB. It started to not post on restart. It has a pair of CMX256A-3500C2 sticks in it. After eliminating everything else on the board I found that it would Post and Boot sometimes (not always) if I removed the second stick. If I try to get it to boot using only the second stick, it will not post and the MB beeps repeatedly. I tried the two sticks separately in my wife’s PC, and one will boot and the other will not. Since the “good” stick does not boot 100% of the time in my PC, I would like to send both back for checking. One is clearly bad.
