MiNdWaRp
Good day! I have a customer who purchased a rather nice system, and he has been having a bit of problems running his memory at the rated speeds of 2-3-3-6 1T. He was able to boot into Windows, but would get many 'Fatal Error' message boxes. He was, in turn, forced to slow his ram down to 3-3-6-8 for timings. Any help regarding this issue would be appreciated. System Hardware: AMD Athlon64 X2 4400+ ABIT Fatal1ty AN8-SLI Corsair TwinX1024-3200C2 Western Digital 200GB SATA Hard Drive LG DVD Burner Thanks in advance! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 10, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 10, 2005 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. .
