cybersirf Posted November 8, 2005 Share Posted November 8, 2005 I have 2 twinxl 3200LL modules. eveything is on auto. Everytime I start the computer fresh I am a gettting single long beep which goes on and off continueosly. Only way around this is to restart the computer by doing a hard reboot then it seems to boot fine. If I run the computer with just 1 stick of ram, it boots fine everytime. Why can't I run the memory together? here is my system config: amd64 3200+ Epox EP-9NPA+ Ultra nvidia 7800gt all settings on auto cpu settings at 10*200 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

However if both mdoule will run one up, but not when in dual channel that would suggest a problem with the MB and or CPU and I would test the modules in another system to be sure.
