deltatuk
I have the TWINX1024-3200C2PRO modules in my ASUS A8V-E Deluxe Mobo. Bios settings are set to Auto. One module passes the Mem86 Test, while the other failed. I tested them in the same slot to be sure. Any suggestions before I have to RMA these. Also is there an advance RMA option, as I can't really have my PC down for over a couple of days.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 8, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 8, 2005 I am sorry about the issues you are having, I think it would be best to go ahead and replace the modules for you. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it.
deltatuk
OK so I was running on one of the 512 chips while I prepared myself to be without my PC :sigh!: Anyway weird windows errors started occurring and so I decided to run MEMtest on the remaining chip, that passed last time. This time it also failed with memory errors detected in a specific memory block range. Do you think I really have two bad chips, or could it be the MB/memory controller that is bad? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 16, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 16, 2005 Might be some other issue, can you test them in another system?
