drporkchop
I have purchased a set of 1 gig value select ram ( 2 512 sticks) VS512mb400. I have had checksum problems and finally figured out it was a bad stick. I am running an amd 64 3500+ on an a8v board at stock speeds. memtest will give errors on test seven when both sticks are in the cpu. Testing seperate sticks at a time, One stick is perfect, the other will post multiple errors on test 7 every pass. I would like to return just one stick and keep the good one so my cpu will not be down, if that is possible.
Wired
Why'd you copy your EXACT post from 2/24/05? http://www.houseofhelp.com/v2/showthread.php?t=36112
drporkchop
I had posted to get an rma, I applied and got a number, but in the process of moving I had misplaced my bad corsair . I was recently unpacking some stuff and finally found the stick I had thought was lost. It was just easier to copy my old post and see if I could still return the defective stick. Wired
Just re-fill out the RMA form with a post # from this thread, or from the other thread.
