Kansas784
I was wondering about the status and date of return of my package that I sent to you. I know it was received on November 3 due to tracking number. RMA # R97595

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 8, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 8, 2005 You RMA was reieved but the new modules have not been shipped. There must be some issue with your RMA. Please either call our customer service at 888-222-4346 and dial "0" or follow the link in my signature "If you have submitted the RMA using the on line form and have not got a reply!" And send them an email about your RMA#.
Kansas784
The confusion was when the form said number of modules I thought it meant how many sticks. Instead it meant how many sets of sticks. I had a package of 2 512mb sticks and put down 2 modules instead of 1. Just a little miscommunication. Well, atleast the problem was cleared up quickly and my parts ship tomorrow. Thanks Corsair for the nice quick and friendly service.

Kansas784
I got my new moduels today. :D: But my system is still not working. My PSU is brand new and it works. My mobo is brand new and it works because I had my system up and running before my problem for 2 days. I didn't know if it could be my graphics card. Sometimes it doesn't post and sometimes it will post until the bios has to pick up and then stops. I have an ABIT AA8XE Fatal1ty board which has a LED that tells the post it's on. When it does post it stops on 9.0 (complete uGuru initial process, AWARD BIOS take over booting job). So is the problem my mobo or something else? Kansas784
I was just on the phone for an hour talking to ABIT the manufacturer of the board. Everything we did led them to believe it was the memory again. Posts were stopping at c1 which is the memory. I can't believe that I would have faulty memory 3 times in a row:eek: , but I don't know what else to do.
Wired
Try the memory on a different system altogether.
Kansas784
I will try and get one of my friends to use his system. I will post results tomorrow.
Kansas784
I was wondering if my comp. wouldn't post if my graphics card is fried. I may have fried it while trying to get my memory to work. I have another one coming and I will try that one. I hope that's the problem!
Wired
Any bad component could possibly cause it not to boot.
Kansas784
Hi I got the new card and tried it. Still nothing. I think I will RMA my memory. I am getting a new mobo so I will see if they will work again.
