Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 7, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 7, 2005 There is no way I can say that you will not have problem! Or they will work 100%! The only way I can make that promise is if you purchase a Twinx set. Sorry. But yes these modules should be able to run together!

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 9, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 9, 2005 Yes I would try those settings at 2.7-2.8 Volts!
Droogkloot
It works together in dual channel but i can't change the speed of the memory to 200 mhz (the maximum is 166 mhz). So it works at 333 mhz instead of 400 mhz, in the manual they wrote its possible. How can i change it in the bios to 200 mhz? My system details: Amd 64 3000+ Dfi nforce3 ultra-d (939, agp) 2* 512 mb corsair 400 mhz

You mixed a CMX512-3200C2 v1.2 module with a CMX512-3200LL v1.2 module, both of which have different SPD programs (the SPD-detected timings for the 3200C2 are CAS 3-3-3-8, while those for the 3200LL are CAS 2-3-2-6). The computer's BIOS got confused as to which settings to use, and thus defaults your memory clockspeed to 166MHz (DDR333/PC2700).

Alright i understand, i changed the setting in the bios to setting of the LLmodule, so the c2 runs faster. Be now i've got the problem that i can't change the clockspeed tot 400MHz. In the manual i read you can change the clockspeed manually, the sameway ive changed the caslatency etc. But the weird thing is i only can choose between 100/133/166 and not 200. Is this because the memory or because the mainboard?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 15, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 15, 2005 Sorry I missed that, you should not mix memory with this MB both modules would need to be the same part# and revision.
