Corsair recommmended RAM but is not compatable

I just recently received TWINX1024-4400C25 / DDR-550 (XMS-4400C25) / 2.5-4-4-8 for my Albatron KX18D ProII. According to the corsair memory site, this recommended RAM should work with my motherboard even though the RAM is 550 and my motherboard supports 400. Once installed, my computer will not start windows but instead keeps on reseting in a loop. Is there something i need to do in BIOS to make this DDR-550 RAM pair work in my DDR-400 motherboard? Please respond soon for i might need to request an RMA. Thank You

I think you may have miss-interpreted the compatibility chart. These modules would be compatible with the chipset, but that is not to say this MB will over clock to the tested settings of the module. And yes I would try these settings and test them one at a time.

CPU Freq: default

System Performance: User Define

Memory Frequency: 100%

Dim Voltage to 2.8 Volts

Resulting Frequency: locked with CPU

Memory Timings: Manual/User Define

SDRAM CAS Latency: 2T

SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T

SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 2T

SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 5T
