RMA Request

You won't get one unless you CLARIFY some stuff, like what you want to RMA for instance? Transmission, or bookcase, or memory? Gonna assume the latter.

What CPU / FSB / Motherboard do you have?

What is the exact part # and revision # of each stick? Is it a TwinX pack?

How To Read the Memory Label

If you have more than one stick, have you tested one stick at a time in each slot using Memtest86+?

If you are sure the module you have is faulty, then please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! Otherwise, please tell us the make and model of your MB and the CPU speed and its FSB as well as the BIOS setting you have set and the part number of your module.

  • 3 weeks later...

Hello I returned a pair of CMX5123200C2 RMA# R98431. I Recevied invoice 488985 ship ID *157196* back. I installed them in my new Abit IC7-G motherboard only to get one long beep ie "bad ram" alert same as what I got before shipped I shipped these to Corsair. Now let me you a little background, first I had these in a new Chaintech i875p chipset mobo it would not post but I got no beep, must be a bad mobo. I bought a new Aopen i875p chipset mobo it would boot then die before the OS could stat 90% of the time must be a bad mobo. My faith in Corsair was miss placed. I requested an RMA and over- nighted them back to you only to wait 5 working days for you to return what appers to be the same pair of CMX512 back to me this is not what I expect from Corsair.

Now convence me that I am wrong. And send me another pair of CMX 5123200C2.

D.

Test one stick at a time in each slot using Memtest86+ using the following timings:

CAS Latency (tCL): 2

RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3

Row Precharge (tRP): 3

Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6

Memory Voltage: 2.75 Volts

All other settings to defaults.
