matt_2k4 Posted November 6, 2005 Share Posted November 6, 2005 Hey, I have an Asus P5GDC-V Deluxe Mobo- currently installed RAM: Corsair 1gb kit (2x512mb) pc3200...Dual Channel in slots 1 and 3... slots 2,4,5 and 6 empty. comes up as 3-4-4-8 timings... Now im trying to find the bottleneck on my machine... This mobo supports DDR2 - has two slots... can you recommend a 1gb Stick (i would prefer it to be in one socket rather than two, as i may need to upgrade to 2gb) Would it be worth the change over? (i would need a cheap ddr2 stick as im on a very tight budget) Would there be a significant change ? (if any) (Used CPU-z to collect RAM timings.) any response appreciated. P.S.
