Does CMSS512MB-333SOD **REALLY** work with Toshiba Portege M200

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade the measly 256MB RAM in my Portege M200 (the thing needs more than upon initial boot (!)).

 

The Corsair site says, CMSS512MB-333SOD should work but whenever I look at it in a shop, they claim it also works with IBM, HP, DELL and other notebooks. Now, in my experience, IBM Thinkpads will work with standard S0 whereas the portege WON'T (I tried): it physically simply *won't* fit (the nose is moved about 1mm)

 

So can someone assure me that the info on the site is in fact correct? (All shops I've called refuse to take the RAM back once sold)
