Pickles
I have a MSI k8n neo-f mobo (NEW), and a 2gb set of vs1gb400c3 chips. One of those chips is clearly bad - the computer re-boots every 2-3 minutes when the chip is in, regardless of the position. Right now, I am running the machine off the second chip in the 2 piece set. When I boot up, the BIOS identifies the RAM as "single channel, 64 bit". Does this mean a) the other piece of RAM is bad b) the memory controller on the MOBO is bad c) everything is hunkydory and I just need to RMA the bad chip?
