patrickvo
I got this memory a while back. I can never run my PC with the advertised 2-2-2-5 timing. If I do, my system will crash after about 30 minutes. It is being run on a Asus P4C800-E Deluxe. So far, I can only run them at 3-3-3-6 timing. Please help. Do I need to return them to Corsair? Thanks for your help. Also, I have tried to run it with default SPD also. No such luck.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 3, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 3, 2005 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.8 volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. patrickvo
Ram Guy, I received the new memory. I put them in and ran a test on them and guess what. 12 errors!!! Just to make sure it is not my system, I went out and bought another pair of Corsair memory and tested them on my system. 0 errors. It is just my bad luck, I am telling you. Well, at least you guys are sending me out another new pair of memory. I pray that this time it will work.
