fzr600vw
I am building a Server with a Supermicro board SUPERMICRO X6DHE-G2-O. I am wondering if the CM75DD2048R-400 modules or the 1GB DDR2 modules will work in dual channel mode, and if not, are there any corsair DDR2 ECC modules made buy Corsair. Thanks
Yellowbeard
Dual Channel is a function of the MOBO, not the RAM. I don't see where Supermicro states that this MOBO will run the memory in dual channel: http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Xeon800/E7520/X6DHE-G2.cfm Also, it is built on an Intel 7250 chipset which has a single channel MCH. The Corsair memory will work fine but the MOBO cannot run it in dual channel. Mike.
