Earlier this year I purchased two 512 mb value select VS512MB400 modules and things seemed to be going great, then after a few months I would repeatedly get and randomly get STOP blue screens on my xp system with a hardware error, or a random memory dump. I made a memtest boot cd and ran that which came up with thousands of errors. I removed the chip I believed to be bad, and left its twin in my computer. I havnt received the blue screen even once since then. Ive tried to make it die, by running Far Cry as well as the new NHL 2006 with it....working like a champ GO CORSAIR!!!!!!..... I would love to be able to use another 512 mb in it, I need to get an RMA to get it replaced, but apparently I need YOU DA MAN RAM GUY to reply to this post and give me the ok.........PLEASE!!! I will probably lookin into upgrading with two 1gb modules in the future but for now, I would like to replace this one. Serial number is 783-0508072-0-169705 thank you in advance.........purchased at zipzoomfly!!!!!! they rock as well

Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts (+.2 Volts W/Giga-Byte) and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, XMS2700C2 Cass 2-3-3-6 for example or if you have Value Select "BY SPD" and then test the module/'s one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
