MeXPaiN
Hi! I´m thinking of building a new system atm & saw many people using 'DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D', most of those r very satisfied so i thought bout buying that 1 too. I do own 4xCorsair CMX256A-3500C2 DDR-SDRAM ( http://www.corsairmicro.com/main/pr...256a-3500c2.pdf ) and i have in mind to keep on using em. Now that i detected in the 'RAM Guide for DFI N4's' the recommendation not to use Corsair, i thought i better ask in here before making any wrong discissions. Is it possible to use those RAM or will i run in2 any problems with that combination? Thx in advance 4 ur help, greetz! ;): (Thread @ DFI-forum)
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 1, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 1, 2005 XMS3500C2 modules should run great on that MB. They are based on Winbond -5 Rev B IC's so you will want to use the -1 bios if DFI is doing the same thing of three bios versions for different memory.
