Godsbane
I bought a new stick of VS512SDS400, and immediately had problems with it. I matched it to the other peice of RAM in my laptop as to not cause problems there. The old peice is fine, whereas this new one is apparently defective. I tested it with memtest86+, and it fails on LRAND tests. I would return it to the retailer, but it says they do not accept returns of memory. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 1, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 1, 2005 I would suggest we replace both modules so they match. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
