corsair twinx xms 1024 xl pro with k8vnxp bio f13

i would like to add a 512 mb module xms xl pro 2.2.2.5 to twinx 1024 xl pro modules 2.2.2.5 to upgrade memory to 1.5 gb total on my gigabyte k8vnxp.

are these modules sets compatible.

There is no guarantee that the new stick will run with the old ones. It will depend on the revision # of the modules. "IF" the MOBO is capable of running this RAM, the revisions need to match EXACTLY or you may not be able to boot or run stable.

Also, there may be some limitations of your MOBO/chipset to running 3 double sided (DS) DIMMs. I'd check the memory configuration table in your manual.
