SmilinMike
Purchased the TwinX 9-10-05 My system build started with a DFI Lanparty - nForce4 platform. Difficult to install WindowsXP, then random crashed and reboots both during intense graphics and internet explorer. Finally BSD. Thought the board was bad, so got a new one. Asus A8N SLi Deluxe - nForce4 platform. Ran for about two weeks with the occasional crash in BF2. Finally BSD and no boot. Tested each stick individually in each slot. All slots are good. Installed windows with good stick and then ran FEAR for about two hours. No problems other than super laggy and slow with only 512MB. Then ran Memtest86. No problems. Installed bad stick and ran Memtest86. I stopped it at test #6, 75% complete with 10,240 errors. Purchased a new TwinX pair (same type) and everything works fine. Out of return/refund period for the bad pair. Also, mobo settings for DRAM are..... Voltage - 2.7 CAS - 2.5 RAS to CAS Delay - 3T Row Precharge - 3T Active to Precharge Delay - 6T Others are AUTO.
