copperheadclgp
Hey everyone, Does Corsair have or plan on having a utility which will automatically back up your flash voyager upon insertion? Everything that seems to be out there is for backup TO the flash drive, instead of off it. For those of us who use the drive as our mobile briefcase, that doesn't do us a lot of good if the drive dies. Any suggestions? copperheadclgp
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 24, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 24, 2005 You can manually backup your data before you remove the drive, but I am not aware of any auto backup software except maybe Norton System works I think has a feature like this. I will mention this to Jackflash and see if he has any suggestions!
copperheadclgp
Thanks, I'd appreciate it. I've spoken with the MX-3 programming team in the Czech Republic - they have a freeware backup program called B-Cup XP http://www.mx-3.cz/ - Jan over there said that he thought that this would be an excellent niche for them to fill and they could certainly implement it in the next release. But if there is something out now it would be even better.. copperheadclgp
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 25, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 25, 2005 I have talked to a few people that would know, and all of could not name any software that is available. However, we are looking at implementing something like this with future software that we might produce.
