r0rschach Posted October 19, 2005 Share Posted October 19, 2005 CMX512-3200C2PT XMS3202v4.2 0520114-0 I have two sticks, my computer has had issues with lockups, random resets, etc since I built it. Finally yesterday it started locking up at the bios screen. I discovered it will run fine with one stick taken out. If I put the other stick in by itself or use both, it locks up. r0rschach Posted October 21, 2005 Author Share Posted October 21, 2005 I have a Chaintech VNF4 Ultra with an AMD64-3000. I'm not sure I could find the FSB setting, it says "CPU Frequency" is 200, "PCIE Clock" 100. I reset the bios and flashed it when i was having problems, so everything was on factory defaults. Today I set the memory to the timings found in the link from your signature. I also tried putting the bad module back in the pc, but now I just get a single long error beep and no video.
