So a while ago I think about 3 weeks ago I posted saying I have bad ram etc etc and you guys were really good with it and got a new set back to me very fast. However, this new set doesn't work either. I recived this new set of VS512MB333 and I put them into my computer and it doesn't post up or anything. It'll make the 1 beep signaling that my motherboard is good and if i put another set of ram in it, it works fine. I cannot even get it to load up to run memtest. Also when i recived it it had a sticky looking film on one of the modules but I am not sure if that would effect it. It says below the barcode 818- 0508035-0 -291810. Thanks for your time.

Well I tryed it in both of my computers to see if it would post up in any of them.

My first computer that I orginally wanted it for is a A7s333 mobo with a 1800+ xp athlon and it supports pc2700 and has 333 FSB. My other computer is a EPoX EP-9NDA3J Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce3 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard with a 3000+ venice 64 bit athlon and has 1000 FSB. It refuses to post up on either boards but when i put other pc2700 memory it will work just fine. On the sticks I recived after I sent in my first set of bad corsair memory, the numbers on the sticks are as follows- VS512MB333 under the barcode it has 818- 0508035-0 -291810, the other stick is VS512MB333 under the barcode it has 818- 0508035-0 -291809. Other then those numbers there are no other numbers on the stick of ram. Thank you for your time.

Okay so I intially did not try them one by one(stupid me!) and so now that I did try them one at one I have come to the conclusion that one is very bad and the other is perfectly fine. 818- 0508035-0 -291809 VS512MB333 is the bad module. 818- 0508035-0 -291810 VS512MB333 is the good module. The difference between good and bad btw is very obvious. The bad one refuses to even post up :(. Please tell me what I should do.
