One Bad stick of CMX512-3200C2

Recommended Posts

For a church computer lab, I have seven new computers that have an Asus A8N-E motherboard. Six computers have one set of TWINX1024-3200C2 and one computer has two sticks of CMX512-3200C2 purchased about a 2 weeks apart over a month ago from Zipzoomfly. The one computer with the two "individual" sticks randomly gives BSOD. Both sticks are marked identically. They are..

BIOS setting are

2.5-3-3-6 with 1T at 2.70 volts.

By moving power supplies, and video cards between the computers, and running one stick at a time, I have determined that one stick is indeed faulty. Where do I go from here? Ideally, I would like to end up with two sticks that I can run together. Can I return both sticks to you or is there a way to get another stick with the same lot number?

Thanks for you help.
