kmrivers
I have been running memory in the title for 2 months at 2-3-3-11 on an Abit NF7-S v2. All of a sudden it decides it will only run Cas 3. No matter what voltage i give it. Memtest run through fine. But at cas 2.5 i cant get into windows. I even installeda fresh copy of windows to be sure. Same thing. I have disconnected all other non vital compenents. Same. I can get into windows at 2.5 Cas at 2.7V but it will crash after sometime. I would like an RMA please. thank you. Wired
Are you running them @ 200 or 166? Are you overclocking your CPU at all?
kmrivers
no. stock. running them at 200. 10x200 3-3-3-11. It was running Cas 2.5.
Wired
AMD Athlon XP-M 2600+ Is that your CPU? If so, it only has a 266 Mhz FSB. Could be an OC that's failing, may want to try the memory on another PC.
kmrivers
i know it is 266. however i have been running this at 200 2.5-3-3-11 for 2 months. The only that makes it crash is bumping the cas from 3 to 2.5. Adjusting the memory speed does nothing.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted October 4, 2005 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 4, 2005 I would suspect maybe your CPU is failing at that speed. But I have no problem replacing your modules if you want to try that. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
