getting DDR2 8000 to work

I did the overclock on my p5wd2 premium board but it went from 3.0 to 3.75ghz because the bus speed was 800 now 1000. The ram boot up went to ddr2 8500 instead of 8000 i follow everything from the post on how to overclock it. what do i need to do to set it back to 3.0 with ddr2 8000 instead of 6400 or 8500.

pls help me out

You will not be able to use default settings with these modules.

 

Testing parameters for Twinx/XMS2-8000UL:

Twin2x1024-8000UL Data Sheet

 

Motherboard make and model: Asus P5WD2 Premium/Deluxe

Each pair is tested and packaged together using the following settings:

AI Over Clock Tuner: Manual

CPU External Frequency: Manually set to 250MHz

DDR2 SDRAM Clock: Manually set to 1000MHz

PCI Express Freq: Auto

PCI Freq: 33.33

CPU Core Voltage: Auto

FSB Termination V: 1.5 Volts

MCH Chiset V: 1.65 Volts

ICH Chiset V: 1.20 Volts

Performance Mode: Standard

DRAM Timing Selectable: Manual

SDRAM CAS Latency: 5T

SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 4T

SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 4T

SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 9T

SDRAM Write Recovery Time: 5

DDR2 SDRAM Voltage: 2.2

Chipset Core Voltage: Auto

All other settings are motherboard defaults.

Maximum DDR2 recommended VDIMM: 2.1 Volts, However this DDR2 module would be the only one rated at 2.2 Volts Max.

I have the same problem on my machine. This may help the techs who are reading this ( Both Processors = Same board, Same Everything) I later Put the 3.73 on a P5AD2

 

P4D3.2EE:

250FSB 2.10v + @RamGuySettings detects PC8500 Posts @PC8500

266 FSB you can post @PC7100. Still detects PC8500+no post

277-282FSB You can post @PC8500 Unstable PCMARK2005 last test (i think its cpu voltage problems atm)

P43.73EE: 266-303FSB Detects PC8000 & Posts @PC8000 with 2.10v

 

PS: im not sure if its a glitch or what not, but mem tests above 300FSB are returning better gain% results than lower settings. To make this clear %gain between 300->303 or 290->300 is more improvement than lets say 270->273 or 270->280

 

and all scores in benches such as sandra etc are returning beefy scores. I like these mem sticks a lot but having many problems with the P4DEE
