bad mem stick in TWINX kit, rma request

Hi,

I purchased a 1Gb kit TWINX1024-3200C2PRO about 10 month ago, system has ran great up until today, when I turned on my pc I could not boot windows, instead I got error that ntfs.sys missed or corrupted and I should repair it from windows installation, but I couldn't because when I tried to reinstall windows from cd it gave me the same error 'ntfs.sys corrupted can't install windows', I even tried to install win2k3 server but it hangs. Changing harddrives didn't work either. So I started looking for solution in internet and found that it might be memory issue. So I removed one stick and, wow, my syistem booted up fine, so I started play with mem, changing slots didn't work, and when I left only stick I removed first my system hangs on post. Right now I can't even test that stick with memtest because I can't start any system with it insalled. So I'd like to request an RMA please. One more think, I bought it as a kit, so do I have to rma only bad stick, or both of them?

Thank you.

Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have (Cass 2-3-3-6 ), and then test the module/modules one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with this MB you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
