I currently have major probs with my PC. I get c: corrupt errors. I have disco'd my extra 2 hard drives and ran Maxtor Floppy Disk Test on Drive with no errors on both quick and 1.5 hr long full surface test (160gb Maxtor). I am now running MEMtest-86 v3.0 on my single stick of 512 2700 2.2.2.5 ram. Getting errors :

tst 3,pass 1, 00016ae3a04, 361.1MB, errors 1 , 40404040 good, 40404042 bad

tst 3,pass 3, 00016e5ba04, 366.6MB, errors 2 , 40404040 good, 40404042 bad

tst 3,pass 4, 00016ae3a04, 361.1MB, errors 1 , 40404040 good, 40404042 bad

tst 3,pass 5, 00016e5ba04, 366.6MB, errors 2 , 40404040 good, 40404042 bad

This has been going for 2:18 hrs so far.

I guess i am attempting to request RMA unless , there is something else you suggest.

Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts (+.2 Volts W/Giga-Byte) and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, XMS2700LL Cass 2-3-2-5 for example and then test the module/'s one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
