rdmnewb
Hi, I am currently unable to run my system with the CMX1024-3200 XMS3200v4.1 memory i just bought. My specs: CPU: XP 2600+ MOBO: A7N8X_X The screen just doesnt turn on so i cant even access the bios (no error sound, system doesnt reboot, just nothing happens), it all works with my old 512 memory tho. According to the link provided on the site, my memory should be compatible with my Motherboard so maybe there are some specials settings for my bios that i should do? I just flashed my bios to the latest version but it doesnt seem to help also, i really have no idea what to do next ... Thanks in advance
CMC_SAVAGE
Are you mixing the old and the new RAM?
rdmnewb
No, it doesnt work either if i try to use both at the same time. Just my old 512 one alone works :(: .

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 19, 2005 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 19, 2005 Please try and clear the MB Bios with the module you plan on using installed and see if it will let you post and set the Memory Freq at 100% and set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts.
