Bad ram?

Recommended Posts

I've been having problems with my system. During game play it either reboots or crashes to the desktop.

Ive tried different operating systems, (xp 64 and xp pro). Updated drivers for all hardware. Auto settings in bios and suggested settings of 4,4,4,12. Quiet fan has been disabled.

Nothing has helped.

I've ran MEMTESTwith sporadic results. Several passes fine, then 3094 errors.

Can the results be saved in order to post for you?

Any suggestions?

My system:

Pentium D840

ASUS P5ND2-SLI Deluxe

2 kits TWIN2X1024-5400C4PRO

Dual GeForce 7800 video cards (SLI)

600 watt Enermax P/S

4 80 gig. SATA drives (raid 5)

Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.1X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one set at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
