memory error, test and windows

This is a request for a RMA number.

I've ran a memtest and received well over 100 errors on test #7.

I decided to run this after I kept getting memory errors from programs crashing in Windows; applications and games.

Also, the cas numbers were not running like they are suppose to according to the packaging and website, instead of 2336, they ran as 3338. After making them run at 2336, the system became slightly less stable.

The memory error on the desktop has happened since i bought them, back in Janurary. Sounds long and silly to take so long, but I took it as being program errors, but after I idled HL2, i got the same memory error.

I would like to RMA this, but for some reason, I need a ticket. Nice long process.

Thanks. Jon

Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have and then test the module/modules one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with this MB you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
