ASUS A8V looking to upgrade more RAM

I currently have a ASUS A8V deluxe mobo (BIOS 1005.027) with 1 gig of Crosair XMS-3200XLPROs (Twin(2x) 512 chipsets) running at 2-2-2-5.

I want to get my rig up to 2 gigs.. should I get another gig of Crosair XMS-3200XLPROs (Twin(2x) 512 chipsets) or should I get something else?

I want the best performance possible.

That should have a Clawhammer core, which means that the only way the memory controller can handle more than 2 sticks is by lowering the mem speed down to 333 Mhz. You could get another TwinX1024-3200XL (same revision), but of course @ 333 Mhz (2T). Best way to get 2 GB is to find a different use for the XLs and get a TwinX2048-3200C2.

So that means I cant put 4 3200XLPROs and reset my Mobo mem settings to "auto-detect"? Right now, I forced the 2-2-2-5 settings. What if I put 4 sticks in (3200XL) and have the mobo auto-detect? Would that work?

It'll set them to 333 Mhz, as it is a LIMIT of the memory controller.

So basically.. set the memory controller back to auto-detect, take out my 3200XLPROS and put in these:

For best results for 2gig RAM, right?

and.. What is the difference between TwinX2048-3200C2 and TwinX2048-3200C2PROs? Which one should I get for best performance?
