OCROB Posted September 9, 2005 Share Posted September 9, 2005 Hello- Have a brand new 2GB kit (VS2GBKIT533D2) in a Dell Optiplex GX620 (3ghz, 2MB cache) and the settings are: 199FSB 4-4-4-12 265 Mhz DDR530 The bios are not changed from Dell's settings so I think I have some bad memory...repeated the test and received errors each time at 1646 MB (0006e5122c). Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 9, 2005 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 9, 2005 Please make sure that you only have our modules installed and that you have the latest bios and then go to bios setup and load setup/optimized defaults and then test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org. Have isolated it down to 1 of the 2 sticks...it was all by itself and had 3 errors on the first go-round w/ Memtest. I guess I'll click on the link and get the RMA...thanks!
