sirjadin26
Its unfortunate as it has been my most favourite peice of computer equipment I have ever bought, but after 5 months and 2 weeks of use my flash voyager memory stick suddenly crashed and burned. Now whenever I insert it into a USB port I only get error messages about an unrecognized USB device or it appears for but a moment before vansihing again with all my safely stored information. Twice it has asked me if I want to format it, which I declined, has the memory stick bought the farm or can it be salvaged?? Sirjadin26

sirjadin26
I must be unlucky or something but its been 6 months since my last problem and once again I am running into problems. With my new memory stick I received everytime I plug it in, and I have tried 5 different machines, it pops up saying its found a prolific drive and I can't open it. When I click the drive I get a message saying would you like to format it, I tried this option and it says it can format it so basically I am back to a non-working memory stick again. Thanks, Bill
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 21, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 21, 2006 Please try and format your Flash Voyager with Corsair EZ-Recover Utility. Please note; this will not recover Data; it’s made to recover the FAT table for the Flash drive. But First if you need to recover some data there are some third party utilities available that may help you if you have some data you need to recover from this site. If you still have problems, lets get it replaced. Please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
