Hello, I just recieved my Corsair ram last night (Twinx CMX512R-3200C2PT lot number 0341031) I have a Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 mother board with the specs below. Processor and ram settings (All default auto no overclocking) Processor speed 133 (AMD 2100+) FSB mulitplier 15x (333 fsb) Matrox 400-TV video card. I currently have two pc2700 samsung rams in the sytem. When I replace them with the Corsair memory I get one long beep and them machine stops. According to the manual this is a refreash failure. If I insert just one ram in I get the same thing (tried both memories). If I put one Samsung ram in and then one 3200 the system boots, but fails to recognize the 3200 ram. I upgraded the bios to Version 5. I also tried to set the FSB to 400 with the samsung memory and shutdown the system. I then switched the memories and same problem. No matter what I do all I get is a single long beep and then a hang. HELP!!
