Problem with secure area on 1GB voyager

1. the R/W performance on the password-secured partition (256MB) is much worse than on the unsecured partition

 

2. After replugging the stick, the file system on the secure partition is not detected correctly and given by XP as "RAW", not FAT32 as it is formatted

 

What is the resaon for this and how to get it straight ?

A: This is normal because the security is running from software.

 

2. After replugging the stick, the file system on the secure partition is not detected correctly and given by XP as "RAW", not FAT32 as it is formatted

 

A: Let's try replacing your drive!
