jeanvav Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 MB: Shuttle AN35/N - Ultra CPU: AMD Athlon XP 3000+ Memory: Two 256MB Corsair 3200 CL2 (Running in dual channel, slot 1 & 3) The M/B has 3 memory slots and currently slot 1 & 3 has 256MB Corsair 3200 CL2 memory installed in dual channel mode. Would like to upgrade memory using the slot 2 instead of replacing the two 256MB modules if possible. Also, would like to retain 400Mhz FSB at the same time using 3 slots. If 400Mhz FSB is possible using 3 memory slots, what memory module can I use? Can I get a 1GB 3200 module from Corsair? Or do I have to get identical module? Thank you in advance.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 1, 2005 Corsair Employee Posted August 1, 2005 You would need to match the modules part# and revision of what you have now. CMXXXX-3200C2 XMS3202 Rev 3.1 for example.
