rachelm Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 I bought a Corsair Flash Voyager 256 MB USB flash memory drive, with which to transfer files from my old, pea-brained iMac to my brand new iMac G-5. I had read in an on online review (http://hi-techreviews.com/nuke/flash/flash_voyager_page1.htm) that the Flash Voyager supported Mac OS 9, 10 and higher, and I naively believed it. Now I've just opened it, and I see it supports only 9.1 and higher. I have OS 9.0.4. Might it work anyway? Any way to tweak things to make it work? To what extent would I be endangering my files to try and use it anyway? Alternatively, can anyone suggest another flash drive that would support both 9.0.4 (USB 1) AND OS X Tiger? Alternatively again -- can anyone advise me about upgrading just from OS 9.0.4 to 9.1, for the sole purpose of being able to get my files onto this flash drive? Apple only wants to tell me how to upgrade to OS X, of course..... Many thanks for any help.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 4, 2005 Corsair Employee Posted August 4, 2005 I have asked Jack Flash to help you with this. As I know nothing about Apple. Sorry!
