rich998 Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 I built my own machine 6 months ago and used 1 x 512Mb of Corsair CMX512-3200C2PT. I wanted to up the RAM to 1Gb and purchased another stick of the CMX512-3200C2PT using the same supplier and purchase code as before. I installed the RAM but the computer tended to crash - sometimes it would just bail out of the game I was playing and go back into XP ready to report a problem to MicroSoft. Other times it would crash and re-boot. I take it that they are not a perfect pair and that I should sell the 2 sticks on eBay and get hold of a perfect matched pair making up 2 x 512Mb???
Wired Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 What is the revision of each stick? How To Read the Memory Label
